SANTULAN — Gender Equality & Women’s Empowerment

संतुलन Santulan translates to “Equilibrium”

The soul has no gender.

Santulan restores a balance society tipped long ago. It stands against female feticide and discrimination, and opens paths to education, livelihood and self-defense for women and girls.

The philosophy, demystified

The mission Eradicating female feticide, gender-based violence and discrimination through holistic empowerment and moral advocacy.

Imagine two lamps of different shapes. The glass differs; the flame is the same fire. Santulan sees men and women that way: different forms, one inner light.

Through Brahm Gyan (Direct Internal Awakening / Self-Realization), DJJS teaches, that inner light can be experienced directly in meditation. Once a person has seen it within themselves, it becomes much harder to treat anyone else as less.

Balance (santulan) is not about making everyone the same. It is about giving every soul the same dignity and the same chance.

Curious about the root of it all? What is Brahm Gyan?

The story in three movements

The imbalance → The balance

  1. 01 The imbalance

    A scale weighted before birth

In too many places a daughter is unwelcome before she is born, and held back long after. Female feticide and discrimination are that imbalance at its most painful.

  2. 02 The insight

The same light in every soul

DJJS teaches that the soul has no gender: the light within a daughter and a son is the same light. Santulan carries that insight onto the street and into the home.

  3. 03 The balance

Dignity that stands on its own feet

Kanya Bachao marches change minds; vocational and self-defense training centres change circumstances, so that respect is backed by real independence.
