ANTARDRISHTI — Inclusion & Livelihoods for People with Disabilities

अंतर्दृष्टि Antardrishti translates to “Inner Vision”

Physical sight is not the only gateway to vision.

Antardrishti works with differently abled people, especially the visually impaired, through vocational workshops, assistive-technology training and the awakening of inner sight.

The philosophy, demystified

The mission Vocational independence, assistive technology and inclusion for visually impaired and physically challenged people.

Antardrishti means inner sight. It rests on a striking idea from the DJJS tradition: the light that matters most is seen within, not with the physical eyes.

Through Brahm Gyan (Direct Internal Awakening / Self-Realization), DJJS teaches, a seeker experiences Divine light at the ajna (The Third Eye / Focus Point of Consciousness), the point of inner vision often called the third eye. That experience is open to a blind person as fully as to anyone else.

This turns the usual idea of disability around. Everyone has a capacity for inner vision; the program’s practical work makes sure everyone also has a capacity to earn and belong.

Curious about the root of it all? What is Brahm Gyan?

How it works

The story in three movements

The barrier → Independence

  1. 01 The barrier

A world built for one kind of body

People with disabilities are too often kept from work and dignity, not by ability, but by how the world is arranged around them.

  2. 02 Inner sight

Vision that does not need the eyes

DJJS teaches that the deepest vision is inward: through Brahm Gyan, Divine light is perceived within, whether or not the outer eyes can see.

  3. 03 Independence

    Skills that light a livelihood

Vocational workshops produce handcrafted, eco-friendly candles, and assistive-technology training opens the digital world.
